Today, IIAE launches its first website, which is designed as a blog, for Christian education. Although IIAE, as an ethical institute, can’t and doesn’t promote or hold on to a certain religion, IIAE finds the number of religious people that see animals as objects for mere commerce, entertainment or consumption, “unbelievable.” Torah, Bible, and Quran are filled with moral codes related to animals, but this is, for many, not reflected in their daily religious practice and in their understanding for and treatment of creation.
With a team of Jews, Christians, and Muslims working side by side, IIAE is financing and giving shape to a website per religion. Content will firstly be available in Dutch, and English.
People interested in contributing, by leading a workshop in their own community or helping out with translations, are welcome to contact IIAE.
